The Church Studio presents IN SESSION, a recording session with Brad Absher and the Superials - an exclusive and immersive listening experience in the iconic Live Room. Limited to just 50 attendees per show, this event offers a rare opportunity to become part of the recording and tracking process.
As an integral part of the session, each guest will be provided with individual headphones delivering a personalized mix of vocals and multi-track instrumentation. This is more than a concert... it’s a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the artistry of analog recording. About Brad Absher
Brad Absher is a soulful storyteller whose music reflects the places and people that have shaped him. From Tulsa’s earthy roots to the swamps of Louisiana and the vibrant music scenes of Houston and New Orleans, Absher blends Southern soul, blues, and Americana into a sound that is both timeless and deeply personal. His voice is honeyed, weathered, and full of grit, pairing effortlessly with his electric guitar to create songs that speak to life’s struggles, joys, and redemptions.
Brad first stepped into The Church Studio under Steve Ripley's ownership in 1988 when he recorded demos. He returned and recorded in 1992. We are thrilled to welcome Brad back with this band The Superials, which includes:

"I’ve been working on new music and am so excited to start recording a few of the new tracks at the Church Studio - where I cut my teeth in the late 80’s doing my first demo tapes. This will be my 8th solo record and I am so grateful to be home and working with these wonderful musicians and engineers who inspire me every day …it’s a good day when you get to create music in Tulsa.
