Volunteer Job Description: Green Team Member
Location: The Church Studio, Tulsa, OK
Reports To: Facilities Manager / Volunteer Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Green Team at The Church Studio is a hands-on group of volunteers dedicated to keeping our historic grounds beautiful, welcoming, and well-maintained. This team plays a key role in enhancing the outdoor experience for guests, artists, and the community. Volunteers help with landscaping tasks such as planting flowers, mulching, leaf blowing, watering, fertilizing, and general outdoor upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the studio grounds

• Plant and care for seasonal flowers and outdoor plants

• Spread mulch, place fertilizer, and pull weeds as needed

• Blow off leaves and debris from walkways and entrances

• Assist with seasonal yardwork and light landscaping projects

• Notify staff of any safety hazards or maintenance concerns

Qualifications:

• Enjoys working outdoors and being physically active

• Comfortable using basic yard tools and equipment (training available)

• Able to work independently or as part of a small team

• Willing to get hands dirty and help with a variety of landscaping tasks

• Passion for preserving the beauty and integrity of The Church Studio's grounds

Time Commitment:
Flexible shifts available, with regular volunteer days scheduled throughout the year. Volunteers are welcome to participate weekly, monthly, or as needed for seasonal projects.

The Church Studio is an iconic recording facility that supports, educates, and inspires with a professional recording environment, public programs, and interpretive exhibits. As a Green Team volunteer, you help create and maintain an inviting and inspiring outdoor environment that reflects the care, creativity, and pride at the heart of The Church Studio. Your efforts support a positive experience for all visitors while preserving the beauty of this historic landmark.
