We’re looking for a handful of volunteers to help distribute posters around Tulsa! This includes areas like Brady, Cherry Street, Blue Dome, Jenks, Mother Road Market, Kendall Whittier, Meadow Gold, and South Tulsa, along with local music venues, bars, and other community businesses.

We already have a list of locations that need posters, but if you know of other great spots, we’re happy to add them too.

Carney Fest Runner – Volunteer Role Description

Runners are the go-to helpers who keep Carney Fest running smoothly by jumping in wherever support is needed most. This flexible role includes assisting with merchandise booths, admissions, trash and sustainability efforts, and performing regular bathroom checks. Runners help problem-solve in real time, support team leads, restock supplies, and ensure guest areas stay clean, organized, and welcoming. This role is perfect for energetic volunteers who enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a big impact behind the scenes.

Carney Fest Runner – Volunteer Role Description

Carney Fest — Admissions Team

The Admissions Team is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a smooth, welcoming entry experience. This team manages wristbands, ID checks, ticketing, and guest flow throughout the day.

Volunteers Needed: At least 8
Shifts:

Morning: 2:00 PM- 9 PM (includes breakdown)

Breakfast, lunch and breaks included

Responsibilities:

Distribute GA and alcohol wristbands

Check IDs and verify age for alcohol access

Work the registration/check-in station

Greet guests and provide basic event information

Serve as entry guides to direct guests where they need to go

Assist with setup and breakdown of admissions area

Volunteers will rotate roles as needed to keep lines moving and ensure a friendly, efficient experience for all attendees.

• Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful customer service
• Assist guests with sizing and product questions
• Keep merch area organized and stocked throughout the event

• Break down merch area, pack inventory, and assist with cleanup (afternoon shift)
